August 8th, 2008
I was asking my opinion about some advertising channel that’s good for my blog. K has some personal opinion to share.
me: yo
me: just wanna ask for your opinion..
k: ok
me: have you heard of widgetbucks?
k: yes
me: how do you find it?
me: i’ve been reading for some materials and find the comments quite contrasting
me: alot of users are complaining that they’re not paying and all that.
k: my opinion
k: dun use it
me: i see..
me: what other ad channel that u propose?
me: other than text link ads and adsense
k: tnx.net not bad, but it hurts ur PR
me: how come?
k: text link ads type of ads always hurt PR
me: i see.. including text link ads itself?
k: yes
k: paid post does too
k: I will remove all my text link ads and paid post next month
me: so it’s adsense left.
K mentioned that when the traffic is not much, probably at the rate of lower than 50 visit per day, you can leave the ads alone at the moment and concentrate on…
k: then my suggestion is - dun insert any ads first
me: oo.. y is that?
me: not much conversion?
k: nope
k: u should concentrate ur content first.
me: i see.
k: Ads on website actually drive away ur traffics
me: so what’s the avg number of visitors we’re looking at if we were to put ads on the site?
k: at least 50
me: i see..
Lastly, K shared a golden tips on blogging..
k: one litttle reminder
k: u need to be persistence in blogging
k: on and off bloggers do not really make money from it

Earn money with widgetbucks?
July 29th, 2008
I’ve came across widgetbucks when i was browsing through for some reading materials online and i happen to drop by at earnmoneytoblog.com. I saw this interesting money making method that the author is trying to promote through his blog. The author suggest that Widgetbucks is another method of making money through blogging apart from google adsense. I googled and found comments on both extreme ends talking about the good and the bad about Widgetbucks.

Some blogger says it does pay really good. Widgetbucks pay you 25 USD upon signing up, which caught my attention too.
Some blogger complains that it’s actually a trap that lure bloggers to put their ads up, help them expand their advertisement network, but they didn’t actually pay. If you look up for widgetbucks scam or keywords of these sort, you can see alot of the similar comments that’s featured at iguides.org, moneyblogger.org, blogstorm.co.uk or googlelady.com.
Well, it’s pretty hard to determine who’s actually right and who’s actually wrong. Much observation need to be done before actually get these widget ad tool installed on your blog. That’s what i think.
